Monday 13th December 2010 - Christmas Food & Wine Matching

As Christmas looms over the horizon, our thoughts turn to the regular Charlemagne informal food & wine matching evening. After the phenomenal success of four previous years, we have again enlisted the services of Parties 4 U to provide a range of tapas dishes. Matching wines to food is a very subjective affair but nevertheless we'll make a stab at it with a range of South American wines that should match at least one of the dishes - and with luck, much more than that!

In view of the format, numbers are restricted to 32. This is a subsidised event – the small surplus we have made this year is splurged on this blowout. So, regular attendees will be given priority and there will be a waiting list for guests. If there are too many bookings, a ballot will be held. If we have any places left after regular attendees, guests will be added. Any remaining spaces are on a first come first served basis.
