Rioja:Reserva and Gran Reserva presented by David Carter

Rioja has long been the flag bearer for Spanish quality wine and with the more recent rise to prominence of such regions as Priorat, Ribera del Duero and Cataluñya, it seems appropriate to start the new year off by reminding ourselves of the classic flavours of Rioja from two long established producers and one newer.
Bodegas La Rioja Alta are well known for their traditional style using American oak while Bodegas Muga offer a slightly more modern approach to their winemaking using French oak.
