As a summer sweeties treat, Sandy will showing a selection of
light dessert wines from around the world. His selection will
include delicious examples from Austria, California, France (Jurancon,
Minervois, Montlouis and Sauternes), Germany and Italy. Sandy gave up the “day job” in 1994 to launch a second career as a wine educator. He manages Wine Education Service with Lena Inger and Vivienne Franks (both regular visitors to Charlemagne), running a wide range of courses and events for wine lovers. Sandy is a judge at the International Wine Challenge and a regular member of Decanter Magazine’s tasting panel. A regular at Charlemagne, he presented a tasting last July on Viognier wines. |
